CRITICAL KEYS THAT SECURE GOD'S COMMITMENT TO FIGHT FOR YOU

MEMORY VERSE

2 Chronicles 20:15-25

Let us look at keys that you can apply to walk in the experience of the Lord fighting for you.

*1. KEEPING GENUINE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

before you can secure His commitment to fight for you.* The name of the Lord can only work for you when you are in a covenant relationship with him, not a superficial relationship. You need to accept Jesus as your Saviour and Lord and be born again. Jesus said, ‘No one comes to the Father except through Me‘ (John 14:6). *Jehovah-Nissi can only be used by those that have a covenant relationship with God.*

*2. You must have a revelational knowledge of the name of Lord.

* The only reason David could say even though war should rise against him and enemies and hosts should encamp around him, he will not fear was because of the revelation he had of the Lord as a man of war (Psalm 27:3). What revelation do you have concerning the Lord our Captain? *This is a prerequisite to walking with God in power and experiencing supernatural victory.*

*3. Rest in God – Learn to rest in God during battles,

circumstances, and situations (Isaiah 30:15).* Don’t allow what you see physically to move you into fear. This can make you lose focus and become defeated. Worry, care and anxiety took over when the children of Israel saw the chariots of Pharaoh. At this point, they contemplated going back to Egypt to remain slaves. This is what fear can do. It will push you into defeat. *However, when you stand still, and you are confident in Him, salvation and deliverance will come from God.*

_*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive grace to hold on to you during challenges and battles._
